Offer Description A tender is hereby opened for the award of (1) Research Grant (RG) under the scope of the EPIC Project – Pedagogical Excellency and Innovative Co-Creation - funded by the Impulso Mais Digital measure (RE-C06-i07) of the Recovery and Resilience Programme, coordinated by the Teaching and Learning Centre.

Skills/Qualifications:
Students with master's degree in the scientific areas of Education, Psychology and Social Sciences.
The award of a research grant implies enrolment in a training cycle at the University of Aveiro (or another Higher Education Institution), whether or not it confers an academic degree. Proof of enrolment must be provided by the time the contract is signed, and the candidate may attach a declaration of honour stating that they meet the requirements for enrolment on an integrated master's, master's or doctoral degree, or on a course that does not confer an academic degree.
If the qualification has been conferred by a foreign higher education institution it must be recognized by a Portuguese higher education institution, under the terms of the provisions of article 25 of Decree-Law no. 66/2018, of August 16th.
Specific Requirements:
Applicable legislation and regulations: Research Fellow Statute, as amended by Decree-Law No. 123/2019, of August 28th; Scientific Research Grant Regulation of the University of Aveiro, Regulation No. 292/2020; Decree-Law No. 66/2018, of August 16th.
Workplace: The work will be carried out at the Department of Social, Political, and Territorial Sciences of the University of Aveiro, under the scientific supervision of Professors Cláudia Raquel Cordeiro Figueiredo and Sara Margarida Alpendre Diogo.
Duration of the Grant: The grant duration will be 6 months, starting in January of 2025, and may be renewed for additional periods of 6 months, up to the maximum limit of approved funding.
Amount of Monthly Maintenance Allowance: The amount of the grant corresponds to €1259,64. The fellow may also be reimbursed for the amount corresponding to the Voluntary Social Security, in case of adherence to this plan.
Eligibility criteria Applicants are eligible if they comply with paragraph a) of no.1 of article 2, of the Research Fellow Statute in the wording given by Decree-Law no. 123/2019.
Selection Process The selection methods to be used will be:
a) curricular assessment (40%);
b) Research activities experiences/professional experience (30%);
c) Personal interview (30%).
The jury reserves the right not to select any candidate if it considers that they do not fulfil the required criteria.
Deadline for Applications: The call is open from November 20th to December 2nd, 2024. Applications must be formalized by sending an email with the reference of the notice (EdtlB.9-DCSPT/2024) in the subject line and attaching the following documents: Cover letter, Curriculum Vitae, Certificate of Qualifications and other supporting documents deemed relevant.
Additional Comments The results of the evaluation shall be made public no later than 60 working days after the closing date for submission of applications and shall be notified to the applicants.
