Who we areOur Mission is to inspire authentic and meaningful connections.Selina was born out of a desire to celebrate the nomadic lifestyle: to experience our planet's most beautiful places, to build community, to engage with locals and fellow travellers, to work and enjoy new adventures.What you will be doingResponsible for communicating the different Tours & Travel products and services during the check-in process.Ensure all guests are aware of the different spaces in Selina (common kitchen, F&B, cinema room, library, cafe/club, Retail Shop, Tours & Travel desk, Wellness Deck, Surf Ranch - when relevant).Responsible for selling all Tours & Travel products (Retail, Tours and Transportation, Rentals, Wellness, Surf and Education).Responsible for recording Tours & Travel sales in systems, Rezdy and Winks.Support guests with any questions or concerns regarding a Tours & Travel product.Manage receptionists' tasks on the night shift.Process all guest check-ins and early check-outs.Review receptionists' reports.Maintain a clean and organized reception.Prepare accounting reports as required.Complete the logbook.Check all the Complete Registration Cards to ensure all IDs and personal information of our arrival guests are collected.Perform adjustments and corrections to rectify any PMS problems that occur during the night shift.Verify that all registered guests have the payment applied correctly in the PMS.Prepare end-of-day procedures.Ensure all arrivals for the following day are already assigned.Prepare all Registration Cards, Selina Bracelets, and keys for the arrivals of the next day.Check all accounts of guests who check out the next day.Responsible for a cash float throughout your shift and ensuring all floats balance correctly at the end of the shift.Ensure standards of customer service.Maintain good conditions of reception equipment.Perform the full night audit if needed.Act as manager on duty for the hostel in the absence of the Management Team, dealing with complaints, problem-solving, disturbances, special requests, and any other issues that may arise.In case of events or parties, coordinate with the security team.Direct and oversee all hotel operations during the night shift to ensure guest satisfaction and safety.What you need for the role1-2 years of experience in reception.Team management experience.Bilingual.Knowledge of PMS system.Tourism/Hotel management background.What can you expectCompetitive salary.Performance bonus.No dress code.Pet-friendly (as long as your pet is friendly).Multiple online training opportunities.Cultural events and wellness activities at locations.Volunteering with Selina Gives Back; because sharing is caring.Huge Selina experience discounts on your stay, food & fun for you AND your friends & family.Have your birthday off.Amazing referral program with cash and global holiday packages.Extra country-specific benefits; we can tell you more during the application process.
