About Connext Connext is the protocol for permissionless chain abstraction, focused on L2-L2 communication. It is recognized as the most secure and decentralized protocol on the market. Connext enables any kind of user-facing interaction between blockchains at unprecedentedly low prices and latency, settling via canonical bridges for optimal security. Connext has a 20-person team and was founded by Arjun Bhuptani and Layne Haber in 2018. Connext does $1BN+ in monthly volume and is powering the expansion of the fastest-growing LRT Renzo ($3BN+ TVL). $6M+ annualized fees, $900M in bridged TVL. Backed by 1kx, Polychain, Pantera Capital, Consensys, Hashed, Polygon Ventures, Coinbase Ventures, Fenbushi and others. About the Team The Connext team is remote first and globally distributed, with English as primary language. We are looking for self-starters who are excited about working in a fast paced startup environment. We do not require contributors to live in specific time zones, but much of the team lives and works in the US/European timezones.
Responsibilities Interface with the development teams of high profile projects building on top of Connext to create project specifications, assist with development efforts, and provide ongoing developer support. Design and optimize a process for onboarding projects, ensuring a smooth transition from initial engagement to production. Iterate on Connext's developer experience based on feedback from users and partners. Build PoCs and examples on top of Connext to showcase the technology and demonstrate how it can be used to the broader community. Requirements Extensive experience building projects and hacks in the space. Experience with Solidity with a deep understanding of security best practices. Familiarity with common Ethereum dApp and wallet development paradigms as well as industry-standard developer tooling like Ethers, Hardhat, Foundry, etc. Exceptional communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders effectivelyPassion for innovation and collaboration. Nice-to-haves Familiarity with Typescript. Familiarity with React or a similar front-end framework. Familiarity with Node.js. Experience building developer-facing products.
