The position will respond directly to the company Senior Accountant. The overall objectives of the position are: Organizing and recording accounting documents Assisting on month/year close processes Preparing banks reconciliations and third parties analysis Assisting financial analyses and reports, including projections and budgets Preparing financial statements, complying with all IFRS, IAS and SNC including legal requirements, and interpret new and existing legislation. Assisting in monthly, quarterly and yearly tax reporting Assisting with annual audit preparations. Required skills: Strong financial analysis skills. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Strong organizational and stress management skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly with Excel. Ability to work with little to no supervision Demonstrated ability to support all other departments within the company and coordinate training and information sessions High proficiency of Portuguese and English (being the day-to-day preferred language) Education or Equivalent Experience: Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required. 2 years of accounting experience. Working knowledge of tax laws, Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), particularly IFRS.
