The position will respond directly to the company Senior Accountant.
The overall objectives of the position are:
Organizing and recording accounting documentsAssisting on month/year close processesPreparing banks reconciliations and third parties analysisAssisting financial analyses and reports, including projections and budgetsPreparing financial statements, complying with all IFRS, IAS and SNC including legal requirements, and interpret new and existing legislation.Assisting in monthly, quarterly and yearly tax reportingAssisting with annual audit preparations.Required skills: Strong financial analysis skills.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.Strong organizational and stress management skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly with Excel.Ability to work with little to no supervisionDemonstrated ability to support all other departments within the company and coordinate training and information sessionsHigh proficiency of Portuguese and English (being the day-to-day preferred language)Education or Equivalent Experience: Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required.2 years of accounting experience.Working knowledge of tax laws, Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), particularly IFRS.Experience working with intercompany transactions and reconciliation in preparation for auditLocation LisbonIf you think you have what it takes for this position and are looking for a new professional challenge send your application.
