Location: Portugal based remote (aligned with New York time zone)
About the Role:
As a Junior Account Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing patient accounts for American healthcare facilities. Your primary focus will be on maintaining accurate account records, ensuring timely payments, and facilitating smooth communication between patients, healthcare providers, and insurance companies. You will be the main point of contact for account-related inquiries, helping to resolve issues and providing excellent service to all stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain patient accounts, ensuring all information is accurate and up-to-date.
Engage with patients, healthcare providers, and insurance companies to resolve account-related inquiries and issues.
Facilitate clear and effective communication between all parties to ensure timely and accurate payments.
Monitor and track account statuses, including outstanding balances, payments, and adjustments.
Develop and implement strategies to improve account management processes and enhance service delivery.
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through proactive account management and problem-solving.
Qualifications:
Proficient in English (B2+ level).
Experience in account management is a plus.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a detail-oriented mindset.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a remote setting.
