About the Role We are seeking an experienced Operations & Customer Service Manager with a strong background in international business within the beverage industry. This role is responsible for overseeing import and export operations of non-alcoholic beverages, managing intercommunity VAT processes, handling supplier and customer orders, and ensuring efficient stock control and forecasting. The successful candidate will collaborate with Country Managers in three European markets, manage logistics for sample shipments, and provide exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities Operations & Logistics Oversee the import and export of non-alcoholic beverages across European markets, ensuring compliance with EU regulations.Manage intercommunity VAT processes, ensuring accurate reporting and compliance with tax regulations.Handle the end-to-end order process, including placing orders with suppliers and fulfilling customer orders.Coordinate and monitor stock levels to optimize inventory, prevent shortages, and manage warehouse logistics.Develop and maintain forecasting models to anticipate demand and optimize supply chain efficiency.Work closely with warehouses, logistics partners, and distribution centers to ensure timely deliveries across multiple countries.Arrange and track product sample shipments for business development, sales, and marketing teams.
Customer Service & Relationship Management Act as the main point of contact for customer inquiries, ensuring high levels of responsiveness and professionalism.Work directly with Country Managers in three European markets to align customer service and operational processes.Resolve order-related issues, complaints, and disputes efficiently, ensuring customer satisfaction.Improve and maintain customer service processes to enhance retention and overall customer experience.Collaboration & Process Improvement Coordinate with sales, marketing, and finance teams to ensure seamless operations.Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency in logistics, order management, and forecasting.Maintain accurate documentation and reporting on stock levels, VAT compliance, and shipments.Support new market entries by assisting with the operational setup in new European countries.Key Requirements Minimum 5 years of experience in operations, logistics, or customer service within the European beverage industry (preferably non-alcoholic beverages).Strong knowledge of international trade regulations, VAT intercommunity processes, and import/export operations.Hands-on experience with order management, stock control, forecasting, and supply chain logistics.Proven ability to work with Country Managers and coordinate operations across multiple European markets.Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.Excellent problem-solving abilities and the ability to handle customer and supplier relations effectively.Proficiency in ERP systems, CRM software, and Excel for tracking orders, inventory, and reports.Fluent in English; additional European languages (such as Spanish, French, or German) are a plus.
