Also in 2022, we were certified as a Great Place to Work.In Portugal, we partner with over 120 clients and a team of over 500 people, working in projects for industries as diverse as banking, insurance, transportation, aviation, energy, and telecom.Headquarters of the Nearshore IT center, Alter Solutions Portugal has a dedicated team of around 30 specialized professionals, integrated into projects with several internationally renowned clients.Job DescriptionAnalyzing, developing, implementation and customization of Power BI based solutions.Competences:Definition of Functional and Nonfunctional Requirements.Continuously research and learning latest configuration and best practices of Power BI and then bring these configurations to live.Assist in developing design specifications as well as providing demos (live, documentation and presentations) of the solution to the business.Works directly with/in agile teams to implement the solution.Qualifications> 3 year of experience in Power BI and data modelingDeveloping visual reports, KPI scorecards, and dashboards using Power BI desktopConnecting data sources, importing data, and transforming data for Business intelligenceAnalytical thinking for translating data into informative reports and visualsDAX experienceT-SQL experienceAzure DevOps mindsetBasic experience in agile IT, SAFE or SCRUM methodologyExperience in Power BI Premium workspaces (mandatory)Preference in competences like:Experience in using XMLA end pointsExperience in RLS and partitioningExperience in Azure on data related componentsExperience communicating with clientsAbility to teach other developers how to develop processes for distributed environmentsYou should have analytical skills, willingness to learn and adopt new technologies.Is mandatory to be business-fluent in English language (speaking and writing).
