RESPONSIBILITIES & MAIN TASKSThe HR Center of Excellence trainee will be assigned to two different areas of expertise within the HR department, namely to the Reward department for the first part of the assignment and to the Talent Acquisition department for the second part of the assignment.
They will have a unique opportunity to gain exposure or reinforce their skills within these 2 key areas.
In this experience, you will work closely with HR professionals and experts to gain hands-on skills and experience and will have a chance to assist in various HR projects or processes and support the local or group initiatives.
During the assignment in the Reward team, the HR COE Trainee will have the opportunity to: Develop a solid understanding of the annual reward processes and initiatives.
Get exposure to reward practices across the globe, by supporting the reward specialists of all regions in specific ad-hoc requests or projects.
Get an understanding of both compensation and benefits practices Act as a trusted advisor and change agent by collaborating with internal teams and the HR community, to support on all necessary actions related to the assigned projects and initiatives Assist in building efficient and relevant communications related to reward projects Support on data quality and system initiatives, in relation with internal teams During the assignment in the Talent Acquisition team, the HR CoE Trainee will have the opportunity to play a key role in supporting the recruitment team, gaining hands-on experience, and developing the skills needed to attract top talent and drive our company's growth.
Your responsibilities will include: Assisting in sourcing candidates through various channels, including proactive recruiting strategies.
Reviewing resumes and applications, conducting initial screenings and interviews to evaluate candidates' qualifications and suitability for open positions.
Scheduling and coordinating interviews between candidates and hiring managers, ensuring a seamless and efficient process.
Maintaining and updating candidate databases to ensure accurate and current information.
Engaging with suppliers/agencies for profile submissions and providing feedback on their performance.
Assisting in the organization and participation in job fairs, university events, and other recruitment activities to enhance our talent pipeline.
JOB REQUIREMENTS Specific skills / expertise / product: Ideally master's in human resources or business administration with a strong level of professionalism and confidentiality, fluent in English (verbal and written), proficient with the Microsoft office suite.
Strong analytic and problem-solving skills with the capacity to manage multiple priorities concurrently.
Behaviors & inter-personal skills – Key points: Enthusiastic and curious, multi-faceted skills, eager to develop in different areas, customer-focus mindset, hands-on, business acumen.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
