Who is the company and context?Our client, a large consultancy, is looking for its new ERP Consultant to join their team in PortugalWhat will I be doing?An exciting opportunity awaits to join a consultancy based in Portugal, working on a diverse range of projects and engaging with key stakeholders. You will be bridging the gap between finance and IT and will collaborate closely with key stakeholders across functional areas such as Finance, Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations & Sales. Your role will involve gathering functional requirements and translating them into best-practice processes and system designs for their ERP solution.As an ERP consultant, your main responsibilities will include:Providing consultancy services to clients regarding their ERP systems.Responding efficiently to support requests from clients.Utilizing initiative and expertise to research logged tickets and provide solutions or action plans to clients.Ensuring successful outcomes for clients, consistently achieving conclusive resolutions for all support requests.Advocating for best practices within the consulting firm by assisting colleagues in delivering solutions to clients, offering advice, guidance, and promoting best practices.What kind of skills and background will I need to have?The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications and skills:Ideally, a master's degree in finance, engineering, or related disciplines and/or relevant certifications.At least 3 to 6 years of experience in a similar role.Strong knowledge of ERP systems such as MS Dynamics, D365, Netsuite, Unit4, Exact, IFS, Oracle Cloud ERP, Peoplesoft, or similar.Comprehensive understanding of business processes such as P2P, O2C, Supply Chain, etc.Strong interpersonal and communication skills, coupled with analytical abilities to solve problems.Driven, proactive, and a great team player.Fluency in both English and Portuguese.Why should I apply for this role?Joining this company as their new ERP Consultant provides an excellent opportunity to take part in exciting digital transformation projects, influence clients in their usage of the systems and be part of a dynamic teamHow do I apply?If you are interested in learning more about this opportunity or want to explore the market further, please contact Ana Machado from SystemsAccountants at the following email address: ****** we are?SystemsAccountants is a leading global Financial Systems, Analytics, and Transformation recruitment company.
