TasksFinancial Accounting & Reporting Maintaining the company's general ledger, validating financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow statement), and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations for Blaze Portugal and Blaze Germany.Budgeting & Forecasting Be involved in planning and forecasting the company's finances. This involves working with other departments to create a budget, regularly updating forecasts based on actual performance, and analyzing any variances.Cash Management Managing the company's liquidity, ensuring there are sufficient funds to cover operational and investment needs. It also includes managing banking relationships.Accounts Payable and Receivable Managing all payments owed by the company to its suppliers and payments owed to the company by its customers. It can also include credit management.Tax Planning and Compliance Cooperate and coordinate the accounting offices in Portugal and Germany to prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with tax laws in each jurisdiction, and strategically planning to minimize tax liabilities where possible.Financial Analysis Analyzing financial data to provide insights into the company's performance and financial health. This could involve profitability analysis, cost analysis, etc.Investor Relations Involvement in preparing financial reports for current or potential investors, as well as answering any finance-related questions.Strategic Planning Be involved in strategic decision-making for the company.
