Accounts Payable / General Ledger Europe (m / f / d) – Temporary
Your opportunity :
Manage all accounting tasks related to accounts payable, ensuring timely and efficient processing while verifying amounts, payment terms, and sales tax compliance.
Accurately code down payments and invoices to the appropriate general ledger accounts.
Maintain and update vendor records; collaborate with vendors and suppliers to resolve discrepancies, secure cash discounts, and confirm payment of outstanding invoices.
Investigate, resolve, and communicate discrepancies or outstanding balances on vendor accounts through phone, mail, or email correspondence.
Coordinate with global production sites and corporate functions to ensure seamless collaboration.
Process both regular and ad hoc general ledger postings.
Analyze and reconcile assigned general ledger accounts.
Execute month-end closing activities relevant to the role.
Your profile :
University degree in Management, Accounting, or Finance, with knowledge of accounting principles or relevant work experience.
Languages: Native or fluent English is mandatory; additional languages (DE, PT, IT, PL) are a plus.
Proficiency in SAP is mandatory.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to interact professionally with employees and external customers.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and follow through effectively.
Strong individual contributor with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
