Energy Storage Project Development Manager

The applicant will be responsible for the assessment and development of energy storage projects in the markets in which the company operates, with the support of the local development teams. The position reports to the Director of our Development and Engineering Competence Center.
Main responsibilities: Assess and characterize the markets in which the company operates, identifying key policies, supporting mechanisms and regulatory framework applicable to energy storage projectsIdentify, assess and pursue business opportunities in those markets, in coordination with the local teamsUndertake due diligence on energy storage project opportunitiesUndertake continuous research of established and emerging technologies for energy storage, including technology, costs, performance and limitations, developing strong relationships with manufacturers, suppliers and other stakeholdersAssess the integration (co-location) of energy storage projects in existing and new generation projectsBudget, plan and develop energy storage projects, in coordination with the local teamsLiaise and cooperate with the development, investment and construction teams (across Europe)Solid knowledge in energy storage technologiesStrong network of contacts within the energy storage industryStrong computer skills and ability to learn new software toolsProficiency in English and Portuguese is essential. German, Spanish or Italian language skills are considered a plusExperience in the construction of energy storage projects is a plusAttributes: Experience in the renewables and energy storage sector, performing similar tasks for a minimum of 3 yearsProven track record in the assessment, planning and implementation of energy storage projectsAutonomy and proactivityCuriosity and strong interest to learnDetail-focused and results orientedEffective organization and time-management skillsAbility to work within a team and support team membersEducation: Degree in Engineering or energy related fieldOther: Driver's license and availability to travel.How to apply?
