THE TEAM The Performance Analytics Team is dedicated to helping the underwriting community make the best decisions possible with the support of data analytics. THE ROLE This role will report to the European Head Performance Management and lead the Exposure Management function in Europe. It is suited for a senior associate with a background on actuarial / stats modelling who wants to broaden their technical knowledge across the three exposure management areas (property, cyber and casualty) and gain exposure to Europe's senior underwriting executives. The successful candidate is expected to evolve to a manager position. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Lead the development of the area's capabilities, including methodologies, data, tools and processes (examples would be overlaying EQ peril maps to the property exposure or providing business focussed detail on the outputs of the existing Cyber realistic disaster scenarios); Be the European point of contact on exposure management topics, relying on subject matter experts for additional detail when needed; Develop a good understanding of the main types of reinsurance and how to model their impact; Deliver any ad-hoc work (eg. ultimate loss estimates or exposure potentially affected by natural catastrophe events); Ensure the delivery ofBAU reporting; Manage and mentor an analyst
