The selected candidate will develop and use behavioral tracking systems combined with computational approaches and Drosophila neurogenetics to analyze the impact of neuronal and cell specific molecular manipulations on foraging computations. Research Field: Neurosciences Education Level: PhD or equivalent Minimum qualifications: Team player with excellent English; Passion for science; Demonstrated experience in managing scientific projects; Experience in developing and using video based behavioral tracking systems in small animals (especially Drosophila); Computational skills toanalyze behavioral data; Experience in Drosophila neurogenetics and neuroanatomy. Essential skills: Excellent English; Programming with Python; Demonstrated experience in developing and using behavioral tracking systems; Drosophila neurogenetics; Drosophila neuroanatomy. Desirable skills that will also be considered: Knowledgeable in foraging theory; Experience in robotics. Selection process: Candidates will be screened to determine eligibility based on minimum qualifications listed in call. Candidates meeting minimum requirements will be scored according to the required application materials: CV 70% weighting, motivation letter 20%, interview 10% (in case of a tie).
