Key Responsibilities: Network Management: Design, implement, and manage WAN, LAN, and WLAN infrastructure. Ensure network security and compliance with relevant standards and policies. Monitor network performance and ensure system availability and reliability. Manage and maintain network hardware, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points. Interface with third party vendors to manage ongoing network contracts. Troubleshoot and resolve network issues promptly to minimize downtime Network Configuration and Optimization: Suggest, configure and optimize network infrastructure to ensure efficient and secure network operations. Implement and manage VLANs, VPNs, and QoS policies. Conduct regular network performance tuning and capacity planning. Ensure optimal configuration of network services such as DHCP, DNS, and IP address management. Microsoft 365 Management: Deploy, configure and manage Microsoft 365 services and infrastructure. Administer and support Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and OneDrive. Manage user accounts, licensing, and service configurations within the Microsoft 365 admin centre. Implement and manage security and compliance policies within Microsoft 365 through tools such as InTune. Migration Projects: Plan and execute network migration projects, including hardware upgrades, software updates, and technology transitions. Develop and document migration strategies, schedules, and risk assessments. Coordinate with vendors, stakeholders, and other IT teams to ensure successful project implementation. Perform post-migration testing and validation to ensure system integrity and performance. Network Security: Implement and manage network security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, web application firewalls, web proxy solutions and VPNs. Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Technical Support and Troubleshooting: Provide advanced technical support for network infrastructure and resolve issues related to WAN, LAN, and WLAN. Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration and operation of systems. Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours network support.
