What you will do: Collaborating with designers and stakeholders to understand research needs
Recruiting participants for research studies
Observe and interview users in the field (might require travel and time away from the office)
Facilitate workshops/ focus groups/ design sprints and interviews with stakeholders
Outline key success metrics to measure and communicate outcomes on desirability, feasibility, and viability
Research the current market, technology, "cross-pollination" possibilities using qualitative and quantitative research
Develop and deliver progress reports, requirements, documentation and presentations
Define the findings from research and map the service and users experiences using personas, scenarios, user journeys and service blueprints
Defining research questions and selecting appropriate methods of data collection
Conducting design research studies and analysing the data collected
Facilitate and help stakeholders with prioritisation and implementation
Build a research repository
Who you are: Proven experience with Google analytics, Microsoft Clarity or RUM Datadog
Holistic approach to projects, zooming out and connecting the interdependencies of all service elements.
Deep knowledge of an array of user research methodologies
Ability to design and conduct usability studies—i.e., identify potential solution options for a stated user need and design experiments that help elicit the most viable solution for users
Experience managing communications with users and stakeholders
Experience integrating user research into product designs and design practice
Working knowledge of statistics and experimental design
Strong ability to generate and communicate compelling and actionable insights, both verbally and visually
Good business awareness skills and an understanding of how different businesses operate.
Ability to emerge with the users through empathy methodologies
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build good working relationships.
