WORK ENVIRONMENTThe team follows the Agile methodology and is composed of Developers, QA Analysts, QA Automation Engineers, Product Managers, and Product Owners, based in Paris and Lisbon offices.
We use JIRA as our ticket system and project management tool, Confluence for documentation, and Azure DevOps to store our repositories and manage our CI/CD.
The team is responsible for developing and maintaining the digital subscription platform, a key product for CORUM fundraising, so we expect a zero-defect policy.
WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOUAs a Senior QA Automation Engineer, we expect you to handle all new features to be covered by Automation Tests, help the team maintain the CI/CD, and validate the quality delivered in production.
We are looking for a candidate with experience working in cloud solutions, in environments with multiple serverless applications.
That means you will work on multiple projects with different stacks.
TECHNICAL EXPERIENCEFor this position, you must have experience in the following technologies and tools:
Significant experience in automated testing and testing frameworks such as Playwright.Knowledge of other testing frameworks such as Selenium or Cypress is a plus.Javascript and Typescript knowledge.SOFT SKILLSGood understanding of testing principles and agile development methodologies.Ability to work independently and within a team.Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.Curiosity, results-oriented mindset, and rigor.Good understanding of the product tested and the business involved.DESIRED SKILLSIt would be advantageous if you are familiar with some of the following design concepts:
Builder Design Patterns: Knowledge of design patterns for creating complex objects.Page Object Models: Experience with creating and using page object models in test automation.Object-Oriented Programming (OOP): Understanding of OOP principles and their application in testing.Scrum/Kanban: Familiarity with agile frameworks and participation in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools like Azure DevOps and GitLab, with the ability to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous delivery.JOINING USAn innovative, entrepreneurial project in a profitable company with the resources to match its ambitions.A dynamic, friendly, and supportive international working environment.Numerous events and opportunities for sharing throughout the year.
