The Channels & Products Analytics (CaPA) architecture collects and processes 1.5 billion events per day for analytics to deliver best in class consumer services. The data acquisition & ingestion solution is a key fundament for building digital services and enables data driven decision.

The Architecture & Engineering chapter develops, build, and own a secure, cost efficient and reliable Data Analytics platform to enable efficient delivery of the respective Data Analytics roadmaps consistently across our distributed multi squads setup to connect employees with data analytics to optimize the consumer services business value.

The purpose of this role is to design solution, develop and drive the implementation of the data and analytics acquisition and ingestion solution within CaPA. The Analytics Architect is responsible for the solution design, infrastructure, integration and security for event collectors and data pipelines. We are looking for a person that has experience with the most innovative and most scalable data processing technologies in Google Cloud Platform, ability to build innovative state-of-the-art solution for our customer by defining efficient, scalable, and reusable solutions on native cloud services as well as on premise solutions that help us to enrich our data lake continuously.

As an Analytics Architect you will work with colleagues on the data engineering and architecture part of our projects, building robust pipelines and wrangling data in a way that it becomes easy to visualise and ready to be fed into our machine learning models. In addition to that, you will be helping us to build out the software engineering side of our in house developed app analytics products.

**What you’ll do**:

- Building the infrastructure for data pipelines for Consumer Services and the inhouse developed app analytics product;
- Ensuring quality and security of data stored and transferred;
- Designing, Building, adopting data models and pipelines;
- Knowledge sharing of analytics solution design and data engineer expertise and best practises with clients and communities;
- Analyse usage of data products incl. correlation patterns and define potential technical enhancements.

**Who you are**:

- Strong programming and architectural experience, and design pattern ideally in Python and/or Java, and SQL;
- Good communication skills to manage local and remote stakeholders in a highly distributed team;
- >= 3 years professional work experience with building (big) data solutions and building scalable and high-performant code;
- Experience in architecting, building, maintaining and troubleshooting of Data & Analytics solution on GCP (infrastructure, pipelines, data storage);
- Experience and expertise across data integration with focus data & security management;
- Experience with data acquisition and integration technologies/ methodologies (e.g. Kafka, Beam, REST APIs, Logstash);
- A strong drive to explore, evaluate and introduce new solutions and technologies in Google Cloud Platform;
- Programming experience in e.g. Python, Java, SQL;
- First experience with building scalable REST APIs using Python or similar technologies;
- Ability to take ownership, end-to-end and finding creative solutions;
- Applied Scrum / Agile methodologies;
- Professional experience and knowledge of Internet and/or Telco industries;
- Portuguese/English Language proficiency.
