**Job Description**:
**Team presentation and main goal**:
The Compliance area ensures business follows external as well as internal rules and policies, and also internal controls, protecting therefore business activities and employees from non-compliance risks.

At Natixis Portugal, Compliance provides specialized services for worldwide GFS and Groupe BPCE.

This role sits within the Core Compliance area and is primarily responsible for the coordination and administration of the Compliance Department’s Training program. This includes coordinating primarily with the Compliance Advisory and Financial Crime Teams on an annual training needs assessment and the development of the annual Compliance training plan. The role also includes the preparation of a monthly overdue training report and the reporting of late trainings into the Firm’s Conduct Tool as well as monthly and quarterly training metrics.

The position is responsible for the oversight and implementation of Compliance trainings in the Firm’s training tools: preparing and/or reviewing the trainings, identifying the groups to receive the training and creating and pushing out the trainings.

The Compliance Officer is also expected to act as a back-up for certain Core Compliance functions, which may include managing employees´ outside business interests, reviewing electronic communications, supporting the registrations process for licensed employees and advising on personal account dealings.

**Main tasks and goals**:

- Coordinate and participate in annual training needs assessment
- Prepare annual Compliance Training Plan
- Prepare, distribute and track overdue training report
- Develop, create and rollout Compliance e-learning trainings in the Firm’s training tool
- Coordinate trainings
- Maintain training policies and procedures
- Report and analyze designated monthly and quarterly metrics to MIS reporting program
- Log training breaches into the Conduct Tool
- Perform and provide backup for Core Compliance functions

**Qualifications**:

- 1-3 years of Compliance training programs, including the creation and management of firm-wide and targeted compliance-based training topics. Prior experience at an investment bank is a plus;
- Notions of various compliance processes around conduct and ethics
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Tools
- Fluent English
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Accurate and detail-oriented with sound judgment and integrity
- Highly motivated and proactive; Strategic and goal-oriented focus
- Self-directed, with the ability to proactively identify and analyze problems, and propose viable solutions

Additional Information

Early morning. Campo 24 de Agosto. In 4 minutes, you are clocking in at the office. After grabbing a cup of coffee and fresh fruit, pick up your laptop and choose your spot for the day. It's going to be a busy one: French class before lunch and, just after, quick medical appointment at Natixis doctor's office. Lunch break. Outside in the big terrace (look at your crops at the Urban Garden; ready to harvest) or, if you feel like stretching your legs, walk downtown to grab lunch.

Back inside. Quick sprint review (working together anywhere means virtual happy birthday to that colleague in Paris that just turned 35). The afternoon went flying (tasks, reports, calls, some jokes with your teammates). End it on a high note: just one PlayStation game or the final match for that ping-pong tournament.

Tomorrow, you complete that certified technical training and the day after, you will work from home, taking advantage to finally do that online course on Udemy. Once you are done with your tasks for the day, you can visit the office for a board games session or show up at the rehearsal of one of Natixis bands. If that is too steady for you, meet your colleagues to surf some waves or join them in a football match.
