In light of the rapid international growth of the business Mindelo-Group is currently looking to recruit a Chief Financial Officer.
The Chief Financial Officer will report directly into the 2 owners of the company and will assist in determining and implementing the strategy to achieve the ambitious objectives.
Mindelo-Group is looking for an intelligent business-minded CFO who likes to work in a smaller, rapidly growing and ambitious environment with an entrepreneurial culture.

**Your key responsibilities**
- Partnering with the Executive Team on all operational and strategic issues as they arise; providing strategic recommendations to the team based on financial analysis and projections, cost identification and allocation, and revenue/expense analysis ;
- Participating in the ongoing strategic planning process ;
- Sponsoring, evaluating and implementing various projects across the business to increase the financial maturity of the organization and deliver upon the key responsibilities listed here below;
- Providing relevant and appropriate business analytics to the leadership team so they may effectively manage their areas of responsibility and be aligned with the financial management of the company ;
- Reporting financial results, business risks, budgets, and business strategies effectively to the Executive Team ;
- Overseeing the preparation and approval of all financial reporting materials and metrics; including budgets, forecasting, and analysis ;
- Managing cash flow and forecasting ;
- Assessing margins and pricing alongside product development initiatives ;
- Maximizing working capital efficiency via accurate and timely invoicing, suitable purchasing terms ;
- Ensuring effective treasury management ;
- Ensuring frequent contact with banks, accountants and other external parties ;

**To qualify for the role you must have**
- Master’s degree in Finance or Economics;
- Min. 8 years of relevant experience in financial and operational roles or in consulting and audit services ;
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, in Portuguese and English. Notions of French is a plus.

**Our story**

Mindelo-Group was founded late 2020 by 2 Belgian partners having 10 years of experience in the fashion industry. Our atelier makes clothes both for fashion and corporate clients who are sensible to European production and sustainability issues.

We tend to build the most modern and efficient factory, based on process optimisation and technology. We hope to grow our team from 30 people to 50 by the end of the year.

Even in this difficult economical period, MG tends to triple its turn-over this year yet again thanks to a strong client relationship management.
