You will be shaping the target IT/OT landscape and transformation of the global Siemens factory ecosystem of 120+ factories. You will define, implement and scale a state-of-the-art target IT/OT landscape based on Siemens offerings (primarily from Digital Industries). You will influence the evolution of the Siemens product portfolio, create scaled refence implementations to demonstrate the power of Siemens offerings, realize co-creation and customer-zero projects and optimize the factory ecosystem.**What part will you play?**

Strategic role- Definition of the target IT/OT Landscape of the Siemens-wide factory ecosystem with focus on common IoT building blocks, IoT platforms and hybrid/federated architectures
- Close alignment with the Siemens-wide Enterprise Architecture community on definition of scaling building blocks
- Facilitating and driving the IT/OT architecture guild within the factory network
- Elaboration and alignment of transformation roadmaps for implementation & scale at Siemens and migration / decommissioning of legacy solutions, but also giving input for product development roadmaps
- Identification of re-architecture opportunities for Siemens offerings and definition of non-functional requirements with coherence with Siemens IT strategy to improve scalability, adaptability and TCO position of Siemens offerings
- Managing the evolution of the IoT building ecosystem of Siemens IT for the manufacturing domain

Operational role- Lead of architecture modules within strategic initiatives to define solution architectures in alignment with product architecture and IT strategy
- Definition of target architecture of IoT (platform) services
- Steering ramp-up of IT-landscape and services as part of co-creations and customer-zero approaches within projects and programs
- Driving incubations with technical impact on IT/OT landscape to verify value potential, enterprise readiness and scalability of emerging technologies
- Being the IT expert for emerging technologies and product offerings of Siemens in area of manufacturing to bring in IT perspective to drive IT/OT convergence

**What you need to make real what matters**
- A Master’s degree in IT or engineering
- Several years of experience in IT or OT architecture roles with demonstrated impact
- A passion for IT/OT convergence and understanding of requirements and dependencies
- Understanding of the Digital Industries product portfolio of factory automation, edge, Mindsphere, MES
- Experience in leading others, also in mixed team setups, dealing across geographies and cultures, and communicating on top management level
- Ability to see and develop the big-picture, but also be able to break it down to operationalization
- Good moderation skills, the ability to open rooms for visionary discussions, as well as to drive meetings to concrete practical and valuable outcomes
- Strong network within Siemens, especially DI, and you know how to use it
- You are a systemic problem solver, and you are able to connect the dots
- You play in teams and have excellent people skills and the adaptability to connect quickly with people
- Proficiency in English and German
