**Job Overview**

We are a fast growing B-Corp startup who strongly believes every single kencko-er we hire is a key part of our shared success. Our new Finance Accountant will support the growth of the Company in our group finance and administrative functions

**Main Goals**
- Ensure financials’ accuracy of US legal entity and Group consolidation;
- Regular maintenance of financial entries and accounts by posting, verifying and allocating transactions, including reconciliations;
- Comply with all local, state and federal accounting regulations (US GAPP);
- Liaise with the PT accounting firm and other internal and external stakeholders;
- Compile, analyze and report financial data;
- Create period reports such as profit & losses, balance sheet and cashflow statements;
- Keep informed about current legislation relating to finance and accounting;
- Support with audits and tax filings; and
- Support on the implementation of an ERP > Netsuite.

**Experience You Bring**
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in US accounting, preferably in an in-house role
- Strong understanding of US accounting principles and regulations
- Strong experience working with Netsuite, Bill, Expensify or other similar tools;
- Excel and Google Sheet master who can turn very complex data and topics into simple and easily understood reports;
- Fluent in verbal and written Portuguese and English;
- Team player, proactive and dynamic approach;
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills;
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities;
- Detail-oriented and highly organized;
- Proven ability to work remotely and willingness to come into our Marvila and Montijo offices every month;
- Working knowledge in the technology sector and/or health and wellness.
