Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Accountant Assistant to join our Finance Department in Lisbon.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced accountant to work as part of a close-knit team, supporting all financial activities and ensuring compliance with internal and external regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain complete and accurate accounting records, including supporting documents, in accordance with legal requirements and internal rules;
  • Support in the fulfillment of all related tax and/or legal obligations, including support in the preparation of the tax dossier;
  • Collaborate in the organization of information for the preparation of monthly and annual reports, as well as for the preparation of reports and accounts.
  • Audits: participate and collaborate in all financial, management and/or other audits related to the company's activity;
  • Support in all administrative activities in the financial department.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Economics, Management, Accounting or Finance;
  • OCC certified accountant;
  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in a comparable position;
  • Portuguese native and English fluent;
  • Experience with Office 365 tools and accountant software (Sage or SAP) is advantageous.
