PURPOSE
As a 3D Modelling Artist in Studio A, your job is to create high quality CG materials and 3D assets for real-time and campaign production for all sales and marketing purposes within Studio A. The project scope is primarily on a global level across brands and functions.
Your objective is to conduct the projects within the boundaries of time, cost & quality while focusing on consumers’ expectations and requirements.
The operational execution of 3D modelling in cooperation with the respective functions and project team members as well as the close collaboration with external 3D experts are a few examples of what is expected from this role.- KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Scope - Production of high-quality 3D assetsAsset creation
- Modelling of 3D files from scratch in compliance of company 3D standards
- Create high quality 3D materials through scanning processes and the use of external service providers
- Refinement and remodelling of 3D files in compliance of company 3D standards
- Ensure high quality of the 3D material process in terms of visualizations for shoes and clothing
- Ensure data quality all along the 3D asset creation process and support all required steps for process improvement
- Check over data quality all along the 3D asset creation process and take all required steps for process improvement about given adidas standards
- Revision of the materials, textures, logos and related parts on the 3D model
- Reintegrate the revised 3D models into the rendering process
- Document procedures related to 3D modelling processes
Communication
- Support in all technical question and establishment of 3D standards and materials
- Provide guidance and execute tests in relation to 3D standards and materials
- Communicate improvement within creation process and ensure changes are smoothly and successfully implemented to achieve lasting benefits
- „If required“ Responsibility - Asset Pipelines
- Operate and create content for the realtime pipeline
- Ensure the quality standards of the visual content for realtime pipelines
- Scope management for all relevant realtime pipeline assets in relation to all stakeholders
- REQUIREMENTS
- Education & Experience
- University degree with focus on Media, Design or Graphic Design or related areas, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 5+ years of in-depth professional experience related to 3D asset creation or similar topics
- 1+ years of in-depth professional experience related to 3D material creation
- Experience in 3D object scanning processes such as photogrammetry is a plusSoft-Skills
- Good communication skills, especially when interacting with different levels of business
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with different international cultures
- Solutions-oriented approach and creative mindset
- Good visual skills
Hard-Skills
- Deep knowledge in shading and texture creation
- Expertise with 3D real-time content (high & low poly) and game engines (Unreal Engine or Unity) is a plus
- Experience with industry 3D standards
- Fluent English both verbally and written-
