Sourcing Manager

The Sourcing Manager Raw Materials is responsible for the procurement of raw materials for all Dawn’s production sites in Europe. You will be the Procurement Lead at European level for sourcing of raw materials such as hydrocolloids, additives and flavors. This position is part of the European Procurement team and reports to the Director Procurement EU & AMEAP.

Your focus points will be:

- Demand analysis
- Market analysis and market intelligence
- Category strategy
- Creating opportunities for additional value
- Maintaining and optimizing supplier portfolio for best possible supply base
- Negotiation (incl RFP)
- Analysis of quotations: market competitiveness, security of supply, conditions, product quality and service.
- Supplier selection, contracting, SAP updates, implementation
- Contributing to the Corporate Social Responsibility program
- Contract monitoring and compliance
- Actively connecting with business partners Supporting the introduction of new raw materials
- Following up complaints with quality department

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor/master’s degree in economics, BA, Food Technology or equivalent
- At least 3-5 years of bakery/food/FMCG manufacturing experience
- 5+ years of procurement experience
- Recipe formulation and raw material knowledge/experience
- Fluent in English and ideally another European language
- Willingness to travel
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Suite or products and SAP-MM ERP/MRP is a plus
- Strong project management & influencing skills
