We are looking to expand the team and as a result, an exciting new opportunity has arisen to lead the International Graduate Academy team in delivering a comprehensive learning programme that shapes the professional development and success of our graduate vets, in line with IVC Evidensia’s mission
The IGA programme hosts graduates from across multiple markets that don’t yet have the scale for their own in-market implementation team (currently Nordics, Baltics, Iberia). You will be supported by and have line-management responsibilities for our IGA Consultant.
We aspire to be the number one veterinary employer of choice as part of our purpose to create Healthy Pets and Happy Owners; this role is critical in delivering our purpose and producing our next generation of vets.
We are looking for an experienced programme manager with international programme experience and a Learning and Development focus to lead and shape on our graduate offering; this role would suit a self-starter looking to make their mark on a strategically critical programme.
**Responsibilities**:
- Support Head of Graduate Academies in developing a comprehensive Graduate Academy programme that aligns with IVC Evidensia’s Group objectives whilst reflecting local market needs.
- Partner with internal Subject Matter Experts to identify local clinical and non-clinical training needs, define appropriate modules and identify suitable trainers to deliver a well rounded, blended curriculum.
- Partner with internal and external partners to deliver clinical and non-clinical modules, ensuring they adhere to expectations on approach, delivery mode and learning objectives.
- Manage relationship and contract process with event venues, ensuring cost-effective delivery of CPD sessions.
- Liaise with internal teams to align IGA with other Academy programmes, marketing initiatives and recruitment activity.
- Oversee the delivery of online and in-person sessions, with the support of Graduate Academy Coordinators, ensuring a professional approach and exemplary experience for graduates and trainers.
- Provide strong leadership of Graduate Academy Consultant, providing guidance and support to enable them to meet goals and objectives.
- Set clear expectations and performance targets with regular reviews and ongoing coaching sessions.
- Track programme performance through Design and implementation of robust methods to capture data and report on KPIs such as retention, programme satisfaction and impact, identifying and acting upon areas for improvement.
**In addition you will**:
Stay updated on the latest trends, technology, and practices in learning and development within the veterinary industry to enhance the Graduate Academy programme.
**What are we looking for in you?**
- Proven experience in programme management, preferably in a learning and development or talent development role.
- Strong understanding of learning principles and programme design.
- Demonstrable leadership capability: able to motivate team, drive performance and handle difficult conversations.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with various stakeholders.
- Innovative and creative mindset, with the ability to develop engaging and impactful learning experiences.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret and effectively present data to demonstrate program effectiveness.
- Flexibility and adaptability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage changing priorities.
- Proficient in spoken and written English.
