BorgWarner is currently seeking a “dynamic, results-driven” individual to join as a Service Delivery Manager of several Western European sites and being located in Viana
- Portugal.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Manage IT services for assigned sites, working with internal service teams and external service providers’ resources to provide effective IT services
- Special focus on managing our Client Technicians to deliver to the expected service-demand of our sites
- Manages service delivery of IT Infrastructure services at multiple locations
- Partners with our IT Business Relationship Management representatives and delivers constantly value add to our customers by driving our IT operating model
- Develop strong collaborative IT, supplier and business working relationships to ensure effective IT services
- Communicates and manages the regional Budget, Chargeback, and Allocation model in strong collaboration with the IT Business Relationship Manager.
- Oversee site incident management, communication to IT and business leadership, status reviews, root cause analysis approvals and follow-up actions.
- Manage business escalations to resolve IT operational issues and incidents and business client complaints
- Prioritize IT services work within the assigned sites and provide reporting on top issues and status
- Ensure effective IT change management execution, following the ITIL framework and BorgWarner standards and processes, including coordination of local maintenance windows and IT Project scheduling considerations including:

- Ensure service team involvement, ownership, and delivery in change activity
- Participate in the regional Change Approval Board (CAB) meeting
- Conduct expedited approval process for urgent / emergency changes
- Work with service teams for effective problem management activities
- Execute IT financial processes for provisioning of services, including creation of purchase requisitions, purchase orders, appropriation request approvals, invoice review and approval, and invoice payment performance
- Analyze service delivery effectiveness as required by reviewing relevant site metrics and scorecards, and as otherwise appropriate; recommend improvement actions
- Develop and deploy local IT service improvements according to global best practices
- Align relevant IT services with the needs of the business and work to continuously improve the quality and cost of services delivered

QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in IT systems, computer science, information technology/science, technology engineering, system analysis, MIS or a related study.
- Strong knowledge of delivering integrated IT Services
- Demonstrated experience in addressing and solving IT and business issues with service teams and clients
- Fluent in English, written and verbal

- Proven ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment, and make sound decisions in emergency situations
- Able to present ideas in user-friendly language
- Highly self-motivated and directed
- Keen attention to detail

- Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
