- Director - Itinerary Planning, Port Operations & Land Programs

**General Responsibilities**:

- To oversee & manage the Land Programs team in the office and the onboard teams to ensure the service quality to the guests and programs we operate are at the level of excellence desired.
- Ensure the good and timely preparation of the tour programs as per brand needs and that all systems are updated by the Pre/Post Operations & Systems Coordinator with current rates, descriptions, and information.
- Coordinate with the Land Programs Operations members to ensure they have the information that they need to prepare/organize the programs for sale according to each brand’s needs.
- Coordinate with the Pre/Post Operations & Systems Coordinator to ensure the shorex files are updated and loaded in a timely manner.
- Coordinate with the Pre/Post Operations & Systems Coordinator to ensure all Pre & Post programs for all brands are correctly setup in systems, Tour Operators, and Land Program team.
- Prepare and oversee the schedule and training needs of the onboard teams with the Travelling/Training Manager to ensure the onboard teams are following the company directives.
- Maintain rotations and hire new onboard staff as needed.
- Maintain a continuous communication channel with the charter clients to better service their requirements.
- Analise the daily reports and voyage reports for follow-ups with tour operators and also onboard teams.
- Analys and prepare the financial reports for the control department to charge charter clients for any additional services arranged.
- Check & validate the daily paysheets for the port calls to later countercheck against the invoices received from the Tour Operators.
- Approve invoices for payment once checked against the ship paysheets.
- Source new operators for new ports of call.
- For new ports/operators, conduct price comparisons with min 3 operators before presenting the analysis to the Director - Itinerary Planning, Port Operations & Land Programs for contracting.
- Condict periodical cost comparison analysis to optimize the rates and maintain competitivity.
- Periodical visits to the ships to better understand the teams needs and onboard operations.
- Prepare/create/update all needed forms and templates used withing the shoreside and shipboard teams.
- Look for improvements and implement new strategies to improve the product and service.
- Monitor service ratings to see where the operation can improve.
- Provide most updated information for tour programs to each vessel according to the brand requirements.
- To liaise with relevant Department Heads on any ongoing issues or operational requirements.
- Follow-up / Liaise with the Financial Department on any outstanding operator invoices and payments
- To attend as/when needed any functions/social events/Trade Shows.
- Other responsibilities, as assigned, but not limited to the above.

**Operational Responsibilities**:

- Ensure each vessel / team has all necessary hardware/software needed for the daily operation and report immediately if any supply chain issues occur to the Director - Itinerary Planning, Port Operations & Land Programs.
- Follow proper communication procedures as outlined in the company structure to ensure proper communication channels are followed at all times to keep all relevant departments up to date on all matters that directly or indirectly affecting their operation.
- To ensure that any Maintenance issues or operational issues are reported in a timely manner to the Director - Itinerary Planning, Port Operations & Land Programs.
