The role
The role is for a Transformation Project Manager whose key purpose will be the delivery of major business transformation projects.

Role and responsibilities
Delivery Management
- Support the delivery of the multi-million transformation migration projects (country based) through the full project lifecycle, from initiation through to implementation.
- Input into the overall estimating process for the migration projects, and working collaboratively with the SME’s (internal and external) to estimate the work effort required to deliver the project scope within the agreed timescales and budgets. Lead replanning activities if there are deviations.
- Identify and manage risks, issues, assumptions and dependencies through the full project lifecycle. Ensure mitigation plans are in place for all risks and issues, making fact based recommendations to facilitate the correct mitigation plans.
- Support migration operational readiness planning, communicating with the appropriate stakeholders to facilitate dependency management and planning.
- Facilitate post implementation review and take responsibility for ensuring that lessons learned are captured and shared
- Provide timely, precise, and comprehensive senior management/executive style reports.

Team Leadership
- Lead, manage and motivate a virtual team in multiple geographic locations, communicating project progress, and ensuring all team members take accountability for delivery.
- Provide coaching, advice and support performance management with line manager’s where necessary.
- Ensure a culture of continuous improvement on the project, support process improvement initiatives, and identify new process improvements.

**REQUIREMENTS**:
Qualifications /Skills / Experience
- Bachelor/Master degree
- 5 years of experience in project management or business delivery environment (B2B or consultancy) or migration management, preferably with mass migrations technology.
- Technology addicted and a good understanding of IT releases (waterfall and agile).
- Telecommunications experience desired but not essential.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills. Able to create a trusted advisor relationship with the stakeholders.
- Ability to execute quickly and effectively - strong influencing skills and ability to get things done in a complex matrix organisational structure.
- Proven track record of driving continuous improvement and innovation.
- Excellent decision-making capabilities including ability to flex from strategic planning to detailed execution.
- Ability to drive a strategic vision and thinking and ability to carry peers and stakeholder on the change journey and perform detailed planning and execution.
- Proven track record of defining and embedding controls, processes and structure.

REMOTE DETAILS
Remote working policy is 5 days a month at the office for collaboration meetings.
