TE Connectivity's Project Management Teams are responsible for managing the operational aspects of projects from inception through implementation. They coordinate cross-functional teams and serve as liaison between project management and planning, project teams and line management. Our Teams review status of projects and budgets, manage schedules and prepare status reports. They assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. They also develop mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead major projects, overseeing the entire lifecycle from initiation to closure.
- Manage projects independently, from concept to validation and industrialization.
- Present project progress to senior management and stakeholders.
- Coordinate project timing, milestones, and regular review meetings with cross-functional teams.
- Support Account/Product Managers with financial justifications and customer meetings.
- Monitor production part approval process, coordinate market introduction, and manage safe launch activities.
- Provide regular reporting on project progress and capacity planning.
- Manage project KPIs and reporting (e.g., TTM, OI, OpEx, GE hours).
- Influence in the present role for assigned projects.
- Proactively manage resources, risk, and compliance across assigned projects.
- Adopt and promote PMO best practices.
- Escalate issues and risks that cannot be resolved at the core team level.
- Directly interact with customers.

**What your background should look like**:

- Bachelor’s/Associates degree in Engineering, Science, or Business (or actively pursuing one).
- Fluent English in speaking and writing.
- 3 years of experience managing medium-complexity projects in a regional setting.
- Strong problem-solving skills and knowledge of project management tools and processes.
- Change management experience.
- Team player with excellent communication skills.

**Desirable Skills**:

- Formal project management education and/or PMP certification (or pursuing).
- Knowledge of German in speaking and writing.
- Experience with LEAN PD, Waterfall, Agile methodologies.
- Knowledge of industry standards (Automotive).
- Ability to deliver on complex issues independently.
- Proactive information sharing and strong leadership, negotiation, and conflict management skills.
- Strong risk management abilities.
