The Hub Module is a core part of A&M and is represented in all the 3 Vestas Technology centers - being Denmark, India, and Portugal. The module is fully responsible for the competences, modularization, specification, design, and documentation of the Hub in the full lifecycle in the full value chain. This includes design and analysis from the early concept study for new turbines to the final specification for production. Additionally, we are also looking ahead to verify new technologies enabling these to be part of future turbine projects.

**Responsibilities**

As our new Module Owner, your primary responsibility is to inspire and guide ~120 people within the Hub module. Your daily tasks will revolve around people management, module strategy, project prioritization & execution as well as stakeholder management. You need to identify possibilities and shortcomings across the organization to turn these into value-adding activities on your module roadmap.

It is your responsibility to ensure that the right competencies and capabilities are in place across locations (Aarhus, Porto & Chennai) to meet both the current and future demand. The renewable energy sector is growing and to stay in the lead we need the brightest minds on our journey. As the Module Owner, it is your responsibility to ensure that the right people are attracted, engaged, and developed to succeed with the module strategy within the Hub module.

You will report to and work closely with the Head of Aerodynamics & Mechanical and be a vital partner on the A&M management team as well as on your own core team that consists of a Module Design Owner, a Module Program Manager, and Sub Module Owners.

Your responsibilities include:

- Design and development of innovative mechanical systems
- Develop the module strategy based on future marked needs and technology roadmaps
- Represent the module in cross-organization initiatives
- Ensure the stability and scalability of the module through continuous workforce planning
- Alignment with stakeholders on module strategy and roadmap
- Encourage modularization of design through organizational adoption of Modular Product Development relevant processes, tools, and metrics
- Make a difference in intent based & inclusive leadership - be an inspirational leader

**Qualifications**

To fulfill the position, you possess deep insights into the engineering and leadership practices relevant to product development. You have +10 years of relevant experience combined with an education within Engineering or related fields & preferably supplemented with a MBA, which gives you an efficient, fact-based approach to your tasks. To qualify for the role, you have experience with:

- Leadership of Engineering or development teams in a large organization, preferable an engineering company dealing with complex products
- Technical leadership
- Project management
