Senior Analyst, Operational Capacity Management

Overview

The Data & Services team is a key differentiator for Mastercard, providing the cutting-edge services that help our customers grow. Focused on thinking big and scaling fast around the globe, this agile team is responsible for end-to-end solutions for a diverse global customer base. We combine traditional management consulting with our rich data assets and in-house technology to provide our clients with powerful strategic insights and recommendations. Centered on data-driven technologies and innovation, these services include consulting, loyalty and marketing programs, test-and-learn business experimentation, and data-driven information and risk management services. While specializing in the payments industry, Mastercard Data & Services also works closely with major retailers, airlines, and other enterprises, leveraging data and insights garnered from within and beyond its network.

Role

The position is for the Insights & Enablement team, a global team focused on ensuring that all of Data & Services can make data-driven decisions and operate effectively and efficiently. This person will be part of the Client Services Insights & Enablement team and will contribute to drive efficiency within the global Data & Services ~3,000 Client Services team across the world. As Operational Capacity Management lead this person will by accountable for tracking and steering Client Services capacity through activities such as recruiting efforts tracking and management or attrition analysis, and generating relevant insights on its evolution. Similarly, this person will track and provide insights into Client Services utilization levels and 3rd party capacity usage.

- Understands internal client needs and identifies opportunities to improve its efficiency
- Clearly formulates a problem statement and effectively structures how to address it through analyses and activities
- Executes analyses autonomously and flawlessly, knowing how to leverage existing tools, with efficiency and automation in mind
- Summarizes insights and implications in a concise and clear way through well crafted PowerPoint decks
- Effectively participates in meetings with senior stakeholders, understanding their context and providing own point of view (when applicable)
- Takes full ownership for implementing agreed initiatives
- Build strong relationships with manager level clients and internal stakeholders to guide impactful decisions
- Partner effectively with various internal stakeholders (Finance, P&C, Advisors Client Services) at Global level
- Proactively plans and prioritizes own work, leveraging the supervisor when needed
- Seeks opportunities to learn more about the business and grow one’s career
- Act as a professional and mature leader in all situations

All about you & Experience
- Engineering or business degree
- 2-4 years of analytical experience with proven problem-solving skills
- Consulting background preferred (>1 year)
- Solid Excel skills
- Knowledge of Tableau / Alteryx solution would be a strong +
- Strong communication skills in English
- Project management / Stakeholder management skills
- Influencing skills / Experience coordinating senior stakeholders
- Timeliness and attention to detail
- Drive to grow own’s career
