We are recruiting an IT Manager to join one of our clients, a transit logistics operator. This is an Iberian company, present in 26 countries, with offices in Lisbon.
You will be responsible for globally coordinating the entire IT department, and you will have global challenges within the areas of Project Management, Process Optimization, Continuous Improvement, and Digitalization.
You will have the mission of Strategic IT Planning, Team Management, Project Management, Infrastructure Management, Information Security, Vendor Management, and
User Support. You will analyze the company's business needs to develop and integrate effective software solutions by aggregating them to communicate with each other in a multidirectional manner. Gather requirements, develop technical specifications, and create system models. Collaborate with developers and IT teams to design and implement systems or computer platforms. Perform software testing and debugging to ensure adequate quality and performance. Disseminate new features or company policies at the IT level. Monitor and evaluate system performance, identifying areas for improvement. Manage costs in the annual budget, as well as prepare and submit them for approval with the Administration, and monitor monthly deviations, justifying them. Interact proactively with each business manager or department to ensure that systems or daily operations meet employee expectations.
You will be responsible for Requirements Gathering, Systems Analysis and Modeling, Requirements Specification, Collaboration with Development Teams, Testing and Validation, Post-Implementation Support, Technology Research and Evaluation, Project Management.
We are looking for someone with autonomy, flexibility, and adaptability for this significant challenge. For this project, it is essential to have experience in Project Management in the field of Supply Chain and Transit Logistics, experience with the Microsoft Dynamics NAV ERP system, and fluency in English.
