**Job Duties**:

- Balance sheet reconciliations.
- Daily reconciliation of incoming and outgoing transfers within the payment system (identifying misconfigurations and miscalculations).
- Identification of improvements needed on the flow to ensure the minimum delay in the payouts.
- Support the other global team members in daily queries regarding pay-ins, payouts and refunds.
- Working directly with multiple payment processors.
- Assist in ad hoc analyses for Finance or other teams » Collaborate with other departments to facilitate cross-functional communication and coordination.
- Any other Ad Hoc tasks as required within the Finance Team.
- Adhere to the company's financial policies and procedures and suggest improvements to increase accuracy, efficiency, and cost reductions.
- Assist in gathering documentation and information for internal and external audits.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting requirements.
- Participate in process improvements and initiatives to enhance financial controls and efficiency.
- Full training in the job.

**Requirements**:

- BA or MA in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or similar.
- 1+ years of experience in a finance or accounting role.
- Based in Porto area - must come to office at least 1 day a week.
- Fluent in English and Portuguese.
- Analytical, problem solving mind.
- Detail oriented, with a strong focus on quality.
- Able to multitask, prioritise in a fast paced environment.
- A proactive hands-on attitude.
- Willingness to learn and develop self.
- The ability to work with the highest ethical and professional quality standards.
