Loyalty Program manager
Overview:
The Western Europe Loyalty team is looking for a proactive customer-focused individual to take responsibility for in-market Product Management, primarily in France and BeNeLux but also in other Western European countries (Italy, Spain and Portugal), managing success of existing customers and building products for future growth.
Mastercard Loyalty Solutions provides a range of cutting-edge products and services for our customers to create compelling Value Propositions. Our fast-growing business, part of Mastercard Data & Services, includes the proprietary Mastercard Travel Rewards program, as well as state-of-the-art Reward & Offer platforms, best-selling Travel & Lifestyle benefits, innovative Insurances & Assistances.
Role mission and content:
- Grow Loyalty revenue, retaining existing business and building new pillars for growth;
- Manage Success of existing Customers and Programs, delivering qualitative products and helping customer valorize our products with their cardholders, in partnership with customers and managing cross functional contributors and our service providers;
- In particular, manage the Mastercard Travel Rewards program across Western European markets, in partnership with in-market leadership, customers, marketing and product development teams;
- Identify and build new pillars for future growth in Western Europe markets, building and localizing new products, programs and go-to-market strategies, in partnership with the sales team and the Europe/global product teams.
- Form and represent the point of view of the market towards Europe and Global product teams for new product developments and product evolutions.
About You:
- Experience in Product Management and/or Marketing, with a passion for great UX and high quality products;
- High sense of end-to-end ownership and entrepreneurial mindset. You identify what needs to happen and then actually make it happen, involving other stakeholders while keeping the driving seat and the full end-to-end responsibility;
- Self-starter with ability to work both independently and as part of a team, collaborating smoothly across the organization and at ease in navigating organizational complexity;
- Excellent planning, prioritization and time management skills, with demonstrated ability to manage multiple and complex priorities, responsibilities and project streams, with limited direction and in an international environment;
- Enjoy looking at everything through the eyes of the customers and anticipating their needs, always with an eye at market trends, competition and international best practices;
- Can-do attitude, always looking to turn challenges into solutions and opportunities;
- At ease with all key aspects of product ownership - financials, legal, technical, marketing
- and skilled at summarizing and translating complex issues at the correct level of detail for each stakeholder;
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage stakeholders across disciplines and seniority levels;
- Fluent in English and preferably French - as a big advantage. Other Western European languages are a plus (Italian, Spanish, Dutch, Portuguese).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- University degree or above;
- Familiarity with payment card business, banking, loyalty/rewards programs and cardholder benefits is a plus but not necessary.
