Job Details

Role Requirements
- Some experience in Accounting or degree in Accounting, Economics or Management.
- Fluent English speaker, accurately able to read and write English and to communicate effectively.
- Ability to work in a changing and flexible organization.
- Availability to work flexibly across geographic time zones during peak periods such as period end.
- Work independently with a proactive approach.
- Willing to build the end-to-end accounting process.

As an Accounting Intern, you will be part of a dynamic and integrated Finance function, supporting one of Kantar's legal entities. You will work closely with the Financial Accounting Lead and collaborate with internal and external partners to ensure operational Finance specialist services are delivered to the highest quality standards. Your main responsibilities will include assisting with month/year-end close processes, balance sheet reconciliations, and journals. You will also support the preparation and review of statutory accounts and financial statements, as well as maintain the fixed assets register.

To succeed in this position, you should have prior experience in Accounting or hold a degree in Accounting, Economics, or Management. Proficiency in English is crucial, as you will need to effectively read, write, and communicate in English. Moreover, you should be open to working in a dynamic and flexible organization, with the ability to work across various time zones during busy periods. Being proactive and self-reliant are also important attributes we are seeking. We are searching for an individual who is enthusiastic about learning and ready to contribute to the complete accounting process.
