Purpose of the role
You will support the team around the Head of Sustainability in the further development and implementation of our corporate strategy on sustainability and ESG. This includes analysis of national, European and international ESGand sustainability developments as well as support in deriving recommendations for action.
How you'll spend your time
- Working with our sustainable operations lead on the decarbonisation of the international Zühlke operations
- You’ll support our internal and external communication around sustainability and corporate responsibility.
- Coordinate contributions to compliance programmes such as UN Global Compact CoP, CDP and Ecovadis.
- You’ll assist in communicating and promoting engagement around our several projects.
- Drive events and initiatives that take us further on our path towards a sustainable future.
The skills and experiences you’ll bring
- You have a degree relevant for corporate responsibility, sustainability or corporate citizenship.
- Knowledge in carbon accounting and controlling.
- You like to work conceptually, and your analytical, structured and independent way of working distinguishes you.
- You have an authentic passion for sustainability, decarbonisation, ESG and a real desire to make an impact.
- You enjoy working in a team and can successfully use your communication and coordination skills, combined with initiative, in a project team.
- Your very good English skills round off your profile.
- Knowledge of major sustainability standard/benchmark like GRI, CDP, SBTi, UN Global Compact, EcoVadis, is a plus
