As Industrial controller you will be part of the Stow HQ controlling team but based in Ovar (Portugal). The HQ controlling group is executing for Stow all industrial controlling, sales controlling and commercial costing activities predominantly from our headquarter office in Dottenijs (Belgium). You will be working together with this team, other departments at HQ as well as plant staff. A substantial part of racking & robotics materials for Stow are produced internally: Dottenijs (Belgium), Karvina (Tsjech Republic), Ovar (Portugal), Izmit (Turkey), Völklingen (Germany), Firminy (France), Sézanne (France) and Duisans (France). Our goal is to increase transparency, improve efficiency, standardize systems and process in order to optimize the sales, operations & distribution flow both for the factories as well as for the many different Stow sales affiliates.

**Tasks & Responsibilities**
- Supervise and guide the installation of an industrial controlling environment through (SAP) BI data gathering:

- Allowing to interpret the operational & financial data in a similar way as the other predominantly SAP driven production entities
- Actively work on validating and adjusting the local ERP parameters (mainly transformation cost drivers)
- Setup costing standards based on the specific production activities, but in line with the other Stow locations
- Analyzing monthly results based on the realized production output:

- Compare current production and operational costs with absorption based on standards
- Rework standards based on executed analysis
- Analyze key cost drivers
- Assisting the business in realizing cost efficiencies
- Follow up & update cost price systems for production entities:

- Verify cost calculations for existing products
- Support cost calculations for new products
- Assist in transfer price setting and margins
- Proactively identifying costing issues
- Analyze & optimize cost calculation system within SAP environment (SAP PLC)
- Follow up inventory valuation and orders/projects in execution:

- Monthly check of inventory and unit prices
- Follow up on inventory valuation. Analyze stock rotation and verify obsolescence based on historic and future usage
- Financial follow up of Projects in cooperation with sales controlling and project management:

- Analyze most important internal production driven variances (steel prices, inefficiencies in transformation process, etc.)
- Proactively identify project issues and have them discussed with project/central management
- Link project valuation with month end results (and provide feedback for correct follow up in sales affiliates)
- Ad hoc analysis on request of management:

- Perform analysis and give feedback (ROI calculation, analyze costs between the different production entities, analyze optimal contribution with limited capacity, etc.)
- On a longer term, take up new controlling roles both within as well as outside the plant scope
- Able to identify opportunities to delegated and eliminate recurring controlling/costing activities
- Support other factories from a controlling/costing perspective

**Qualifications**:

- Master (financial or related) or similar through experience
- Knowledge ERP systems (SAP is a plus)
- Industrial controlling/costing experience
- Solid knowledge of English language, both verbal and written
- Strong analytical skills
- Can work independently as well as in team
- Ability to manage change
- Prepared to travel to HQ or other production sites (+/- 10% time)
