Human Resources Coordinator (L&D)

A Human Resources Coordinator coordinates and implements department activities and projects, as assigned. Provides clerical and office support and assistance to department management.

**What will I be doing?**

The Human Resources Coordinator coordinates and implements department activities and projects, as assigned. Provides clerical and office support and assistance to department management. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

- Coordinates projects and activities and projects, as assigned. Provides clerical and office support and assistance to department management
- Maintain communication with departments involved in the assigned project/activity
- Maintain a good working relationship with other department, employees, and guess
- Support and advise Managers on proper policies and procedures
- Ensure absence monitoring is in line with company guidelines
- Maintain online personnel system, payroll system, and monthly reporting
- Manage employee relations issues in the hotel in a confidential manner, including disciplinaries, grievances, and
capability
- Ensure recruitment and selection process is adhered to and ensure that appropriate immigration checks are carried out
- Assist in the organisation of Team Member social events
- Promote and endorse staff benefits
- Assist and resolve team member and management queries
- Route incoming mail and packages, writes correspondence on behalf of the department, makes copies, send/distributes outgoing mail
- Assist with a variety of requests
- Maintains detailed filing system for department
- Maintain office supplies for department
- Report all unsafe conditions immediately
- Attend all mandatory meetings
- Follow and know emergency procedures as needed
- Keep work area clean and organized

As L&D you will perform the following tasks to the highest standards:

- Support the hotel with departmental training and legal training requirements
- Ensure effective training programs are in place for team members
- Monitor the progress of the Training Business Plan for each department to ensure that the training objectives are being achieved
- Maintains all hotel training records
- Maintenance of employee records including personnel files, learning history
- Prepare and distribute reports measuring trainings results. Maintenance of inventory of all training supplies, stationary and office equipment
- Work with local organisations and schools to promote the hospitality industry
