We have offices in Lisbon, Porto, Óbidos, Brussels, Madrid, Barcelona and Trieste (Italy) and we are looking for 1 (one) Azure Solution Architect to work with us in one of our offices in Portugal.

**Key Responsibilities**:
- Design and configure virtualised systems in a Microsoft Azure environment.
- Ensure the security and performance of Microsoft Azure environments.
- Identify, analyse and resolve infrastructure vulnerabilities and implementation issues.
- Manage multiple projects and teams simultaneously using management software (Jira, Trello, Confluence, SharePoint).
- Communicate with clients and other stakeholders to develop appropriate solutions.
- Contribute to and promote IT policies and procedures to ensure good governance.
- Support the selection and technical due diligence of new solutions and services.
- Formulate project design documentation.
- Approve project procedure and documentation as well as proposals for clients.

**Critical Components**:
- Experience of designing architectures and migrating on-prem apps to the cloud, ideally in Microsoft Azure.
- Knowledge in Cloud Networking including Hybrid Cloud connectivity, Peering, network architecture, VPC/VNET, routing, Security Groups / NSGs.
- Good knowledge, implementing and designing Disaster Recovery solutions, using Azure services.
- Experience using several technologies approaches, like SaaS, Paas, IaaS.
- Knowledge of management tools (Jira, Trello, Confluence, Sharepoint).
- Understanding of IT and Cloud security, infrastructure, and governance.
- Some knowledge of multiple scripting languages (Terraform, PowerShell, Ansible).
- Understanding of DevOps practices and tools (CI/CD tools, IaC).
- Knowledge of agile methodology.
- Strong written and verbal communications skills and use of professional business language.
**Qualifications**:
- Education: Bachelor´s or Master´s degree in Computer Science, or related fields.
- Work Experience: Between 1 years to 3 years of professional experience as a Cloud Solution Architect.
**Language Skills**:
- Fluent in Portuguese and English (spoken and written).
- Knowledge in Spanish, French and/or Dutch is a plus.
