The Procurement Excellence Specialist role is part of a dynamic and integrated Finance function delivering operational Finance specialist services. The role will report directly to the Source to Pay (S2P) Tower Lead and will work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure processes are performed in accordance with performance and quality standards.
Role Description- Ensure procurement function is operating in alignment with procurement excellence methodologies, in particular sourcing and savings methodology and responsible for training.- Support initiative level PMO activity across all procurement tower (Direct, Indirect, IT), Regions and KBS initiatives in line with procurement methodology, including completeness of data, timeliness, governance, and reporting.- Lead the structure of best-in-class procurement practices around category management, supplier relationship management and strategic sourcing across all Regional and Tower business units ensuring alignment with the CPO and Procurement Excellence.- Support the Procurement Excellence team to drive achievement of organisational and performance objectives (including savings, compliance etc), by finding opportunities for improvement and development.- Maintain a fit-for-purpose Supply Chain Sustainability ways of working and capability assessment process that aligns with Kantar and Group Procurement’s sustainability objectives.- Review of external market forces to understand impact on spend addressability and savings.
Role Requirements- Degree level education or equivalent in a relevant area.- Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills to support Pipeline prioritisation and resource allocation.-
- Excellent analytical, presentation, communication, interpersonal and influencing skills.- Proficient English (written and spoken).
