**RESPONSIBILITIES & MAIN TASKS**

**_Responsibilities in Business segments:_**
- Help the business pillars Reporting teams by:

- Assist preparing the quarterly Management Reporting deliverables;
- Lead the Budget and forecast processes for shore bases and departments allocated to you and track their actual performance vs forecast;
- Contribute to the preparation of the Financial sections of the quarterly reporting for the Board of Management;
- Analyze and challenge the actual performance of projects/vessels/shore bases and departments allocated to you and forecast their yearly performance;
- Load data in the reporting software and review the reporting submission (by project, vessel, shore bases and department);
- Follow the budget / forecast preparation in close relation with department/internal projects managers and business controllers;

**_Responsibilities in Corporate:_**
- Provide financial information and explanations to the Group Controller and Reporting Director in order for them to obtain a broader view of the business performance from a Consolidated point of view, by:

- Providing explanations to the main variations of actuals vs last year period and vs latest forecast;
- Prepare a reconciliation between IFRS and Directional (SBM Offshore internal accounting method) figures;
- Develop an helicopter view of the business performance and storytelling skills;
- Prepare information requested by the external auditors during their auditing procedures at year-end;

**JOB REQUIREMENTS**

**_Specific skills / expertise / product: _**
- University Degree in Economics, Business school or equivalent finance degree with strong focus on financial reporting;
- 0 to 5 years in an international audit firm and/or in a reporting position in an international environment;
- IFRS knowledge;
- Fluent in English (both written and verbal), other languages are a plus
- Proficiency in IT tools, especially Business Object, SAP and Excel.
- Good analytical skills and critical thinking;
