We intend to recruit a **Head of Accounting** (M/F) to perform the following functions:

EID’s knowledge and technological capabilities rely on the experience and expertise of highly qualified electronics, software and communications engineers, who represent the majority of the company workforce.

**YOUR ROLE**
- Coordinating the Accounting department and working closely with the Finance leadership team;
- Analysing and proposing internal control measures to improve the company’s processes;
- Closing and reporting the financial statements on a monthly basis;
- Supporting the external auditor work;
- Ensuring all legal and tax obligations are met on time and the financial statements are accurately stated;
- Supporting the senior management team in strategic and budgeting processes;
**OUR REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS JOB**:

- Higher education in accounting, fiscal, management or similar;
- At least 10 years’ professional experience, with 5 years as a Certified Accountant;
- At least 3 years’ experience in team management;
- Experience in consulting (i.e., BIG4) and accounting firms;
- Knowledge of software and ERP implementation (Oracle, SAP, Primavera or similar);
- Knowledge of spoken and written English;
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, especially of Excel;
- Certified Accountant by the Order of Certified Accountants (OCC) in Portugal;
- Knowledge of Portuguese accounting and tax legislation;
