COO PMO deliver flawless project performance and product introductions across Vestas' global manufacturing footprint by efficiently planning and developing the COO project portfolio in a safe, high-quality, timely and cost-effective way. We are a team of almost 50 project management professionals headed from Denmark but located in multiple geographical locations and with different cultural backgrounds. We have recently added a Project Manager and a Project Planner in Vestas' existing facilities in Porto and look to expand further with two qualified Project Managers for our business-critical projects.
**Responsibilities**
- Coordinate projects with moderate complexity, including full ownership for multiple workstreams
- Delivery of agreed project results within the tolerances for scope, quality, time, cost, risks, and benefits
- Plan, coordinate, implement and control the project according to Vestas Governance and report to relevant stakeholders
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders and escalate when necessary
- Full responsibility for complex and strategic projects, from project initiation through project closure and confirmed handover to business
- Developing and coordinating robust project organizations, coordinating all aspects of the project across the value chain with project management best practices and in compliance with Vestas project processes
- Ensure thorough estimation and planning of resources across the organization with regard to project deliverables and plans
**Qualifications**
Expected qualifications are:
- Minimum Bachelor's degree in project management, management discipline and engineering
- 3+ years pragmatic experience as Project Manager
- Good communication and presentation skills in English, both verbally and in writing
Desired qualifications are:
- IPMA C, PRINCE2, PMP or similar project management certificate
- Previous responsibility for 1+ mEUR capital expenditures projects
- Know-how from a heavy-duty industry (e.g. energy industry, car manufacturing industry, shipyard industry, construction industry etc.)
