**About the Graduates' Programme**
- The Graduates’ Programme is a strong career booster in the Group’s various businesses, featuring a mentoring component.- The Graduates will have permanent contracts, with access to several benefits.- During the first twelve months, participants will complete two professional development assignments across different teams. Following this period, they will integrate into a team within the same specific business area.- The rotation is planned based on the needs of the Bank’s businesses and the skills or interests of each participant. As full team members, participants are expected to quickly gain experience and specific skills by working directly with their peers and senior employees. This unique experience aims to promote joint development, experience-sharing and to help build skills.**About the Position**
- We're currently recruiting a Graduate position for Global Markets Front Office Business Area (Capital Markets).- During the first twelve months, the Graduate will experiment two different assignments within the Quantitative Research Team.- Graduates’ Programme starts on September 2nd, 2024; therefore you need to have availability for a full-time position from this date onwards.**About Global Markets**
- Global Markets is BNP Paribas’ capital markets business within Corporate & Institutional Banking (CIB), delivering solutions across asset classes, and industry-leading services for clients including Institutional, corporate, private banks and retail distribution networks. Our Portugal Platform (Porto and Lisbon) is a major HUB in Europe and certainly unique in the country by its size and its scope of activity, with all Front Office roles present (Trading, Sales, Research, Structuring, Quant & Engineering, Business Dev and Support, Marketing & Client Support, Risk Management, Data Analytics and Machine Learning ). - GM Quantitative Research team is responsible for research and implementation of innovative financial models and tools for Global Markets, and works closely with Trading and Risk on a day-to-day basis to manage the valuation and risks of their portfolios.**What is your role?**
- Maintain and enhance pricing libraries as well as build and support tools based on these libraries- Continuously improve existing models, design and implement new models based on business requirements and regulations- Perform quantitative engineering to help trading manage the valuation and risks of their books- Provide support to Trading, Sales, IT and Operations teams**What do we look for in a Graduate?**
- Masters or PhD degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Physics or Engineering- Experience in programming- Knowledge of Mathematics, preferably Financial Mathematics/Stochastic Calculus- Good understanding of Computer Science: algorithms, complexity, etc.- Research mindset with attention to details- Fluency in English- Availability from September 2nd, 2024**WHY JOINING BNP PARIBAS?**:
