**About the Team**

The ESG Analyst will join the CIB CSR Analysis & Expertise (A&E) team. The Team has a global mandate within CIB and has a dual location: Lisbon and Paris. The Team’s mission:

- Deliver a rigorous extra-financial risk analysis for CIB corporate clients and transactions, focusing on environmental and social (E&S) performance- Work with business & coverage teams to understand and evaluate their clients' ESG performance and to engage with them as necessary, including the identification of potential business opportunities- Anticipate and integrate new ESG trends in a fast changing context through active participation in leading industry initiatives**Your Main Activities Are**

Provide specialized advice in the context of environmental & social (E&S) due diligence for corporate clients operating in sensitive sectors (including but not limited to Mining, O&G, Defence, Agriculture), transactions and new business initiatives and/or products

Contribute to the evolution of the existing ESG risk analysis framework (processes, procedures, guidelines, tools & supporting documents

Contribute to the team’s growth by researching on ESG initiatives and topics and developing strong E&S knowledge on specific industry sectors/topics

Deliver training and communication materials

Contribute to the implementation of sustainability initiatives within CIB

Assist in the implementation of sustainability initiatives to which the Bank is a party

**Profile and Skills to Success**

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, complemented with projects linked with Sustainability

Up to two years of relevant experience

Fluency in English (both oral and written)

Strong communication an analytical skills

Ability to work with tight deadlines

Ability to perform thorough research on a particular topic and present a summary of those findings

Proficient with Microsoft Office Package
