ESG ANALYST (JOB NUMBER: 2305CE14952)

**About the job**
- The ESG Analyst (Environmental, Social and Governance) will join the CIB CSR Analysis & Expertise (A&E) team. The Team has a global mandate within CIB and has a dual location: Lisbon and Paris.
- The Team is responsible for
- Deliver a rigorous extra-financial risk analysis for CIB corporate clients and transactions, focusing on environmental and social (E&S) performance
- Work with business & coverage teams to understand and evaluate their clients' ESG performance and to engage with them as necessary, including the identification of potential business opportunities
- Anticipate and integrate new ESG trends in a fast changing context through active participation in leading industry initiatives

**Your Main Activities Are**
- Provide specialized advice in the context of environmental & social (E&S) due diligence for corporate clients operating in sensitive sectors (including but not limited to Mining, O&G, Defence, Agriculture), transactions and new business initiatives and/or products
- Contribute to the evolution of the existing ESG risk analysis framework (processes, procedures, guidelines, tools & supporting documents)
- Contribute to the team’s growth by researching on ESG initiatives and topics and developing strong E&S knowledge on specific industry sectors/topics.
- Deliver training and communication materials
- Contribute the implementation of sustainability initiatives within CIB
- Assist in the implementation of sustainability initiatives to which the Bank is a party

**Profile and Skills to Success**
- Academic Degree in Engineering
- At least one year of relevant professional experience
- Fluency in English
- Strong Communication skills
- Able to work under pressure and tight deadlines
- Able to conduct thorough research on a particular topic and prepare a summary memo
