The Nespresso story began with a simple but revolutionary idea: enable anyone to create the perfect cup of espresso coffee. Since 1986, Nespresso has redefined and revolutionized the way millions of people enjoy their espresso coffee. As part of the newly created Nespresso **Supply Chain Service Center **in Lisbon, we are currently looking for a full time **Supply Chain Project Manager. **The Supply Chain Project Manager, in alignment with NN SC Leadership Team, will lead and manage Physical Logistics Excellence and Delivery Services projects in Markets and at HQ in order to improve E2E service levels, drive costs down, to ensure compliance of our logistics operations and to support growth and innovation aligned with Customer strategy.
**A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A SUPPLY CHAIN PROJECT MANAGER
Ensure compliance:
- Lead change management across markets to ensure understanding and commitment on compliance initiatives;
- Pilot and report consolidated KPIs and define action plans with the markets;
- Interact with Nestlé CO-SC to align guidelines and priorities, and with HQ functions as single point of contact in the expertise area;
- Produce guidelines, training manuals and project methodologies, and support markets' implementation;
- Act as Business Process Owner of Information Systems definition;
- Define, set-up, follow-up and improve KPIs with the markets teams.
Intensify Consumer focused Supply Chain:
- Manage Distribution Network Re-design studies to define with the markets the optimum distribution network and to align with Business Strategy for Direct-to-Consumer distribution;
- Lead projects for the development of new Delivery options and innovative distribution models in collaboration with commercial team, Markets and IS/IT;
- Ensure implementation of performing delivery services in markets in accordance with the commercial guidelines and Markets Services Survey;
- Support logistics operations changes within the markets in transport and postal distribution and contribute to an optimal integration of postal services in the Nespresso logistics solutions;
- Align with Corporate Communication on communication plan and strategy for Delivery Services.
Optimise Operations Costs and Develop operational excellence:
- Lead cost to serve and cost of failure reduction projects in the market and at HQ;
- Animate functional network in order to have a broad view of good practices in the organization;
- Develop Corporate relationship with 3PL and participate in markets tenders decisions.
Develop operational excellence:
- Define Key Performance Indicators, consolidate measures from markets, monitor and benchmark performance;
- Support continuous improvements projects in the markets through trainings, workshops and projects;
- Animate Logistics and Delivery Services Functional network (markets' Delivery Services Specialists) in order to have a broad view of good practices in the organization (available services, pick and pack solutions, standard works, etc.);
- Lead projects for operations and innovations development in collaboration with markets and other HQ functions to contribute on costs, services, quality, competitiveness and sustainability improvements.
Integrate systems:
- Provide awareness to markets logistics users on systems capabilities (ERP, BI, e-business, WMS);
- Be single point of contact for IT Project Managers to specify and validate core systems evolutions;
- Manage or follow-up projects identified in the roadmap;
- Coordinate priorities according to business impacts.
Develop People:
- Identify functional Experts in the markets;
- Contribute to ensure the right level of experiences, skills and potential in the markets;
- Able to train others without supervision.
**WHAT WILL MAKE YOU SUCCESSFUL
- University Degree or equivalent with specialization in Supply Chain/Logistics
- 5-8 years of professional experience in logistics and distribution operations or continuous improvement project manager in an international environment and direct to consumer business model (logistics, distribution, etc.)
- Preferred NN market previous experience
- Fluent in English (any other languages is a plus)
- Management experience in project delivery activities or Logistics and Distribution Operations
- Has successfully led projects and initiatives (complex ones), with solid project management skills
- Has worked/ been exposed to collaborative business development projects in logistics and distribution
- Has an understanding of the E2E Supply Chain process with a specific Customer Service knowledge, cost analysis and management.
- Has been using systems for logistics and distribution processes and decision support
- Has successfully managed relationship with external providers for warehousing, equipment and transport
