We're seeking an individual who thrives in providing exceptional hospitality and possesses strong leadership skills to inspire our team to surpass guest expectations.
**Your Central Role**
As the Head Waiter at Reîa Collective, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of service and guest satisfaction. Your responsibilities will include:
**Service Excellence**:
- Lead by example in providing attentive, personalized service to our guests, setting the standard for service excellence throughout the restaurant.
- Collaborate with the management team to establish and maintain service standards, ensuring consistency and adherence to protocols.
- Anticipate and address guest needs and preferences proactively, ensuring a seamless and memorable dining experience for every guest.
**Team Leadership and Training**:
- Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to the waitstaff, fostering a culture of teamwork, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
- Conduct regular training sessions to enhance the team's product knowledge, service skills, and attention to detail, empowering them to deliver exceptional service consistently.
- Lead pre-shift meetings to communicate service objectives, menu updates, and special promotions, motivating the team to excel in their roles.
**Operational Excellence**:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the dining room, including table assignments, seating arrangements, and service flow, to ensure efficiency and guest satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and coordinated service, maintaining communication channels to address any issues or delays promptly.
- Monitor table turnover and reservation status, optimizing seating capacity and maximizing revenue opportunities while maintaining a comfortable dining pace for guests.
**Guest Engagement and Relationship Building**:
- Build rapport with guests, establishing a personal connection and creating a welcoming atmosphere that encourages repeat visits and positive word-of-mouth referrals.
- Act as a knowledgeable resource for guests, providing recommendations on menu selections, wine pairings, and special requests to enhance their dining experience.
- Solicit feedback from guests and use it to identify opportunities for improvement, striving to exceed guest expectations and elevate the overall dining experience.
**Your Exceptional Qualifications**
To excel in this role, you possess:
- Proven experience in a leadership role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a high-end restaurant or fine dining establishment.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with a genuine passion for delivering exceptional service and creating memorable guest experiences.
- Strong leadership abilities, with a track record of motivating and inspiring a team to achieve excellence in service delivery.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluent proficiency in both Portuguese and English, with additional language skills considered a plus.
